We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Engineer with over 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in developing SSIS packages, crafting complex stored procedures, functions, and views, and a deep understanding of SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio 2017+.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development team to design, implement, and optimize database solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring efficiency and performance at every step.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL databases, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Design and implement SSIS packages for data integration and transformation.
• Utilize SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio 2017+ for development and management tasks.
• Perform data bulk import/export operations efficiently.
• Optimize database queries for performance improvements and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Use GitHub for version control and code management.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and develop database solutions accordingly.
• Conduct reverse engineering to analyze and document existing systems and databases.
• Work in coordination with the development team to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an SQL Developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in creating SSIS packages and developing complex stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Proficiency in SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio 2017+.
• Strong understanding of data bulk import/export methods.
• Excellent skills in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with GitHub for code management.
• Solid business analysis skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong reverse engineering skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
