Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (Remote)

• Lead the delivery of external engagement for key water projects that will benefit communities in the region

This is a full time position based in Petone, Wellington

The opportunity

• Lead the development and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement strategies for Wellington Water’s capital projects.
• Work with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver on-the-ground engagement activities.
• Ensure a community centric lens is provided on all Wellington Water capital projects.
• Lead the organization and management of community events and meetings.
• Provide strong engagement advice and support to leaders.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Solid experience in community engagement with a strong customer focus.
• Highly developed relationship building and management skills.
• Ability to read people and situations and adapt to changing environments and context, as well as deal with ambiguity.
• Ability to plan strategically as well as implement and deliver engagement activities.
• A full clean driver’s license as some travel across the wider Wellington region is needed.
