About The Role
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturing partners. In this role, the individual will work daily with pharmaceutical executives (Associate Director and above) to ensure they receive maximum value from the provided features and services.
The Senior Account Manager will present new ideas and innovations to clients, upsell and enhance their product offerings, and act as a liaison between the Pharmaceutical Brand Teams and all key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
– Establish strategic partnerships with clients by developing a deep understanding of their business goals, technical challenges, and infrastructure configurations to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
– Serve as an advisor to clients and colleagues.
– Present innovative ideas and solutions to clients to enhance their products and services.
– Conduct research on high-level solutions tailored to client needs.
– Foster relationships with clients through regular meetings and conference calls to review service quality and ensure they are maximizing the benefits of the platform’s features.
– Collaborate with Client Services to effectively address complex support issues.
– Manage the delivery of agreed-upon services to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
– Determine the most effective methods for problem resolution by utilizing internal resources when needed.
– Act as the primary point of contact for sales and service inquiries.
– Participate in client quarterly reviews, attend annual Plan of Action meetings, and travel as required.
– Plan milestones and track progress on client deliverables.
– Ensure clear communication by presenting relevant information to all stakeholders involved.
Requirements
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong listening skills and comprehension abilities.
– Proven ability to keep stakeholders adequately informed.
– Capacity to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
– Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
– Minimum three years of experience in a customer support and/or sales role.
– Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
– Previous work with Pharmaceutical Brand Teams is essential.
– Experience in Project Management, HUB Operations, or Specialty Pharmacy Operations/Account Management is highly desired.
– Strong technical skills are essential.
