Senior Structural Engineer (Remote)

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong technical background in infrastructure projects, particularly bridges and Structure, to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, coordinating with clients, and overseeing the execution of structural maintenance and construction works. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to handle the complexities of bridge design, construction, and maintenance, and be able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:
– Provide expert technical support to the site team on the design and execution of bridge infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
– Assist in the development and review of structural designs, including analysis and evaluation of bridge components.

Concept Design for Bridges:
– Develop and oversee concept designs for bridge structures and components, ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory standards, and project goals.

Client Coordination & Technical Proposals:
– Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, presenting technical proposals and ensuring that all engineering solutions meet project requirements and client satisfaction.
– Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth project execution.

Preparation of Method Statements:
– Prepare detailed work method statements for structural works, ensuring clarity and compliance with industry best practices, project specifications, and safety standards.

Resource Coordination:
– Coordinate with the site team to ensure all required resources (materials, equipment, manpower) are available for the successful execution of the project.
– Monitor resource allocation and provide solutions for any gaps in project execution.

Maintenance of Road Structures (Bridges):
– Lead maintenance projects for road structures, particularly bridges, ensuring long-term integrity and performance.
– Provide technical expertise in inspection, assessment, and repair methods to address any structural issues.

Emergency Response:
– Respond to emergency situations, offering structural engineering expertise to address critical issues on-site.
– Work under pressure to solve urgent technical challenges and ensure structural safety and stability.

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputed university
– Minimum of 15 years of experience in Construction / Maintenance of Bridges and Structures
– Must have UAE Driving License
– Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and practices related to bridge infrastructure.

Salary:

AED
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
