Senior System Engineer (Remote)

We are actively seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Windows Server systems administration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration & maintenance, and routine automation. Additionally, you will be involved in OS images creation and hardening, as well as server migrations (P2V, V2V, V2C), and security policies enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Windows Server systems administration and performance monitoring
• Troubleshoot and provide configuration & maintenance support for server infrastructure
• Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency
• Create and harden OS images, and execute server migrations
• Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with best practices
• Manage core enterprise infrastructure services and MS productivity stack
• Handle bare-metal infrastructure, on-premises virtualization, and databases
• Utilize monitoring tools and perform script writing for system operations
• Manage asset and configuration management, and ensure network efficiency
• Write technical documentation in English for system operations

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Extensive experience in Windows Server systems administration and performance monitoring
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft System Center for effective system management
• Strong knowledge of cloud operations, including Azure services and security tools
• Experience in routine automation and OS images creation and hardening
• Expertise in security policies enforcement and server migrations
• Ability to manage core enterprise infrastructure services and MS productivity stack
• Skilled in bare-metal infrastructure, on-premises virtualization, and databases
• Experience with monitoring tools, script writing, and asset management
• Proficiency in NTFS, networks basics, Office 365, and virtualization
• Fluency in writing technical documentation in English
• B2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

• Understanding of ITIL processes and experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Familiarity with networking basics and VMWare virtualization
• Knowledge of Citrix Workplace is an advantage
