We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the development of cutting-edge products on a 12-month fixed term basis.

What you will do

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring project outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored technical solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to optimize design, development, and operational processes, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Systems Engineering Management: Manage Systems Engineering activities, including requirements, systems performance, technical risk, integration, verification, and manufacturing transfer.
• Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within the function.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members to elevate their systems engineering capabilities.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in product development for medical devices or instruments.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (ISO9001, ISO13485, FDA, GMP) and risk management processes (ISO14971, IEC 60812).
• Proficient in requirements management tools (e.g., JAMA) and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience in design of experiments, testing, and integration strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
