Senior Tax Manager Accountant Wfh (Remote)

Job Overview

We are looking to add a driven Senior Tax Accountant to our remote team, who possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation. In this full-time role, you will handle the preparation of intricate tax returns, including Forms 1040 (complex), 1120, 1120-S, and 1065. Your strong communication skills will be vital for fostering relationships with clients and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and review income tax returns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather pertinent information.
• Prepare and file Sales Tax and Payroll Tax Returns.
• Mentor and train new team members.
• Assist clients during IRS audits and represent them as required.
• Research tax-related issues and perform due diligence on behalf of clients.
• Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of client information.
• Support initiatives aimed at increasing client retention and fostering new business growth.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment and assist colleagues as necessary.

Required Skills

• Strong communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
• Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Drake Software is advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced setting and strong multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of tax-related experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
