Senior Technical Product Manager | Extensiv | United States
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager leader to spearhead innovation and execution across our core data and API platform. As a key member of our product team, you will significantly influence the future of our flagship platform, driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer value. This role is highly cross-functional, involving close collaboration with executive leadership, product and engineering teams, as well as marketing and sales managers.
Your primary objective will be to ensure our platform is highly performant, capable of managing millions of orders across the platform, with a strong focus on scalability, resiliency, and performance. This hybrid role is based in our Sandy, UT office, with dedicated office time each week to foster strong connections with your team and actively engage in our company’s culture and values. Key responsibilities:
- Define and execute a comprehensive product vision, mission and strategy for our critical data and API platform working with engineering to improve and develop core platform features, managing data pipelines (APIs, EDI, FTP), third-party integrations and internal systems.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and drive product differentiation.
- Define and monitor product usage and performance metrics, track KPIs, and iterate based on insights to optimize product success.
- Create strong partnerships with other product teams and stakeholders, establishing continuous feedback loops to better understand their problems and needs.
- Define and prioritize product features and user stories, creating clear and concise product requirements.
- Communicate the product roadmap, mission, priorities, progress, and goals to the company and customers through various channels
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of Product Management experience with a demonstrated success in managing SaaS products.
- Extensive experience in technical platform product management, demonstrating a deep understanding of core data and API platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute a product vision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present to stakeholders and the Executive team.
- The ability to inspire your teammates to enhance product quality by consistently striving to understand, question, and improve the user experiences and the quality of our products.
- A growth mindset viewing challenges and failures as valuable learning opportunities.
- Excel at being a team player who enjoys working on a growing team of product managers, engineers, and designers.
