Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of traffic projects.
- Lead, coach, and mentor traffic teams.
- Manage clients and develop new business.
- Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
- Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc.
- Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments.
- Prepare proposals to provide professional services.
- Align traffic practices and processes with company strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
- 10+ years or relevant traffic design experience is required.
- PE license is required; PTOE is a plus.
- Prior experience with ODOT is a plus.
- Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD with a working knowledge of Synchro, VISSIM, Open Roads, HSM and HCS.
- Previous experience mentoring staff.
- Previous experience managing projects from planning through the conceptual phase to final design.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
