Senior Ui Designer With Experience In Campaigning Cape Town (Remote)

Position Overview

As a UI Designer platforms and creative at Plan. N et TechNest South Africa , you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital designs for digital platforms and creative campaigns . You will work closely together with our creative team in Germany and our clients .

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the German and Cape Town teams to create customer-centric designs and digital campaigns for international clients, aligned with our vision and values.
• Take ownership of your work, provide and accept constructive feedback, and clearly explain the rationale behind design decisions and campaigns.
• Partner with stakeholders and customers to design solutions that meet customer, brand, and business objectives.
• Present your work in client meetings, creative pitches, and design critique sessions, and effectively incorporate feedback.
• Support your UI designs with research, including benchmarking, best practices, and customer insights, to create well-informed campaigns.
• Facilitate user research sessions when needed, to inform design decisions and validate assumptions, and present the findings to the team.
• Develop and maintain user journeys, flows, and prototypes in Figma, ensuring they align with the overall design system.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless design implementation, providing detailed feedback as needed. Stay updated on industry trends to keep designs innovative and cutting-edge.

Skills & Attributes

• Experienced in user-centered UI design for digital platforms and creating brand/performance campaigns following brand guidelines.
• Skilled in contributing to and using existing design systems.
• Data analysis and working with analytics are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible in handling diverse UI designs, visual creatives, and campaigns.
• Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping; knowledge of motion design tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS) is a bonus.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Figma/FigJam for documentation and task management.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.

Experience

• 5 years plus experience as a UI Designer for platforms or digital campaigns
• A diploma or equivalent in the design field
• A portfolio of work done to date , award work will be appreciated
