Senior User Experience Designer (Remote)

We’re searching for a Senior UX Designer / Senior Product Designer Proptech for a well-established Proptech software company, who are driving efficiencies across the very painful property transaction ecosystem.

This is a fully remote UK role with quarterly team meetings in the Thames valley.

The Senior UX Designer / Senior Product Designer Proptech will:

1. Create exceptional and consistent user experiences across the product portfolio and deliver innovative, accessible, and beautiful digital products that delight and empower users.
2. Take the design lead on key projects in one of the development tribes, from research to prototyping to testing and delivery
3. Collaborate with product managers, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals
4. Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI specifications
5. Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
6. Apply best practices and standards for accessibility, usability, responsiveness, performance
7. Communicate design rationale and presenting design solutions to internal teams and clients
8. Contribute to design culture and UX maturity across the business
9. Utilise qualitative and quantitative metrics and data to support design decisions and iteratively evolve products in the right direction
10. Grow the design system and help shape the approach to UX design & research

Candidates for the Senior UX Designer / Senior Product Designer Proptech role must have:

1. Strong UX Design experience in a B2B software or complex consumer product environment, designing end-end experiences as opposed to minor changes/optimisation work.
2. Any Proptech experience is an advantage, but is not essential.
3. Experience conducting design research, from creating research plans to running moderated interviews, analysis and synthesis.
4. A strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills and process
5. Excellent visual and interactive design skills, you’re a natural in prototyping tools such as Figma
6. End-to-end design experience, you are comfortable working across research, ideation, testing and delivery
7. An understanding of design systems, component design and modern UI workflows
8. Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and experience working in a collaborative environment
9. Ability to work autonomously and take complete ownership of end-to-end product design
10. Excellent communication skills, you can confidently express ideas and reasoning to stakeholders
