Senior User Experience Designer (Remote)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative, skilled UX manager to design platforms and websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. You will work with back-end developers and web developers to ensure that the platform is optimized for user experience and the interface is intuitive to the user across devices.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design “simple, elegant & intuitive” experiences and interactions that bring delight and step change to users’ workflows.
• Visualize experience concepts through the creation of wireframes, design mockups, journey maps, process flows, and prototypes
• Analyze user needs and gather requirements across multiple product experiences to understand the dependencies for a common experience solution
• Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and design leadership

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

Must have 6+ years of IC UX and/or Product Design experience in enterprise software/product company

Must have experience shipping world-class product designs in Figma, Sketch or comparable tools with focus on delivering simple solutions to complex problems

Success in creating strong UX designs that get the customers job done and delight users and experience working with and contributing to Design Systems

Must understand front-end development techniques (HTML, CSS, JS frameworks) as well as its technical limitations.

• Ability to work independently & collaboratively

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

• 4+ years of experience in UX and product design
• A strong portfolio showcasing foundational understanding of UX and UI design, thought process and how you’ve contributed to solving specific problems with functional designs
• Experience working with cross-functional teams – partnering with product and development to oversee the user experience from conception to launch
• Experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions
• Self-guided and motivated to learn new tools and techniques
• Fluent in English with effective communication and storytelling skills
