As a Senior Video Editor / Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and goals. You will work closely with our creative team to plan, shoot, edit, and finalize video content for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and the company website. This role requires a creative eye, advanced editing skills, and an understanding of current video trends to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production:Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content, including promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, and social media content.
• Post-Production: Perform all aspects of post-production, including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content that aligns with our brand and messaging, while also resonating with our target audience.
• Platform Optimization: Tailor video content for different social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, ensuring maximum engagement.
• Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that communicate key messages in an engaging and visually appealing way.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain video and project files, ensuring easy access and reuse for future projects.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all videos meet the company’s quality standards, including visual style, sound, and storytelling effectiveness.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, tools, and trends, and suggest ways to improve content quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)

• Experience with social first content creation
• Knowledge of platform channel formats
• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Video Editor or Content Creator, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant editing software.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of video formats, compression settings, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Creative Skills: Proven ability to conceptualize and execute visually appealing, brand-aligned content.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Location and Work Environment:This position is remote in the Us, preferably the candidates should be in Houston Texas.

Pay: $70,174.70 – $75,000.00 per year
