About the Role:
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Water Engineer to support our Orange office, or from any of our city or regional offices located in NSW or QLD.  The role of the Senior Water Engineer is to provide technical assessment, modelling and report writing on a broad range of  urban,  environmental and energy projects
Key Responsibilities/Experience :
• Experienced in successfully managing the delivery of water projects
• Demonstrated ability to  develop and maintain strong client and staff relationships when preparing fee proposals,   winning and delivering projects ensuring alignment with client objectives,
• Ability to identify project priorities and monitor their success with a focus on the quality delivery of contract requirements within the specified budget and timeframes;Â
• Experience in being the  liaison with the client, approval authorities and other third-parties as required to deliver positive performance and the contracted requirements;Â
• Actively contribute to Business Development opportunities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of the commercial framework within a professional services firm.
• Exceptional people skills, with an ability to partner with a colleagues and a dynamic leadership team to achieve success!
About You:
• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Process/Environmental) that is acceptable to Engineers Australia (EA) as meeting the criteria for EA membership as a professional engineer;Â
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or able to acquire quickly
• Clear communication and proven written skills
• 8+ years’ experience across the planning, design, documentation and/or delivery of: stormwater quality and quantity assessment, and/or hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, and/or potable water treatment and distribution, and/or wastewater collection, treatment and recycling.
