Job Description:

Spiral Marketing is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer with a strong focus on WordPress and Shopify platforms. This role is crucial for developing, enhancing, and optimizing our clients’ websites, with a keen focus on creating effective e-commerce solutions and compelling user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize WordPress and Shopify e-commerce sites, ensuring excellent functionality and user experience.
• Oversee the full website development process from design to deployment, focusing on efficient, scalable solutions.
• Work closely with graphic designers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.
• Enhance website performance by implementing new features and conducting regular performance optimizations.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines and deliver on client expectations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in web development, with significant expertise in WordPress and Shopify platforms.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
• In-depth understanding of responsive and adaptive design, preferably with experience in frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage complex projects in a remote environment.
• Fluent in English and able to work within US Eastern Standard Timezone hours.
