The Senior Workday Compensation Consultant is responsible for the configuration, implementation and support of the advanced compensation module in Workday, with the goal of providing excellent system reliability, performance, availability and overall system optimization. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the HR, Compensation, and Payroll teams to support continuous improvement including supporting the bi-annual releases of the Workday system.
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
At least 5 years’ experience with Workday Compensation configuration (certification is an advantage)
Bachelor’s degree in HR or IT related field
Implemented Workday for 5+ projects
Proven ability to organize and plan the Workday implementation, development through deployment and the ongoing support model
Detailed understanding & extensive experience in implementation of large-scale transformation projects in HR
Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, pragmatic problem solver
Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications
Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking)
Must have the Right to Work in country where based
Customer Service work experience
Software Design Courses
Excellent oral communication along with strong written skills to be able to convey messages that have the desired effect
Ability to set expectations and deliver the development across the Workday configuration team
Good understanding of estimation methodologies
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to drive deadlines with the team
