Seo Content Manager (Remote)

We’re looking for a dynamic and highly-skilled SEO and Content Manager to join our team at Spark Blue!

As an SEO Manager, you shall wield the power to craft and execute potent strategies of search engine optimization, illuminating the path to increased organic traffic and enhancing our digital footprint. Your duties will encompass the management of both on-page and off-page SEO endeavors, the art of optimizing keywords and phrases, link building, and the analysis of web analytics data.

Objectives:

• Crafting and implementing all-encompassing strategies for search engine optimization, aligned with business aspirations.
• Monitoring and analyzing website performance through the use of SEO tools and analytics platforms, delivering regular insights and enhancement suggestions.
• Joining forces with content creators and digital marketing wizards to conjure and refine high-quality, keyword-rich content, elevating organic visibility.
• Orchestrating link-building endeavors to secure esteemed connections from reputable sources.
• Engaging closely with cross-functional allies, including content, design, and product teams, to ensure peak content performance.
• Collaborating with marketing artisans to weave SEO into the fabric of other digital marketing endeavors for harmonious campaigns.

Your Tasks:

• Conduct thorough keyword research and SEO analysis to identify relevant target keywords and phrases.
• Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and SERP rankings.
• Optimize and create website content, meta tags, headers and URLs to ensure alignment with target keywords and enhance search engine crawlability.
• Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.
• Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings.
• Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
• Stay up to date with emerging SEO trends and technologies, exploring innovative approaches to enhance our SEO efforts further.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant SEO certifications from Google, HubSpot and/or Semrush.
• 3+ years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and digital marketing trends.
• Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner and Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO and SEO reporting tools.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms.
• Experience with SEO for local businesses and Google My Business optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
