Key Responsibilities
- Content Development: Craft and strategize impactful, SEO-driven content aimed at specific target audiences. You will be tasked with producing 15-20 keyword-rich pieces across various industries and topics, ensuring they deliver exceptional value to our readers.
- Keyword Analysis: Execute comprehensive keyword research to guide content strategies and target high-traffic keywords to improve ranking.
- Content Enhancement: Publish and optimize articles on our CMS platform and social media channels while adhering to industry standards. Revise existing copy, landing pages, and metadata to maximize organic visibility and engagement.
- Editing Supervision: Review and refine SEO content generated by team members, ensuring compliance with best practices in search engine optimization.
- Performance Analysis: Assess and interpret data from tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, providing insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.
Required Skills
- Fundamental understanding of SEO principles as they relate to content marketing.
- Proficiency with analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
- Strong creative writing abilities with a focus on SEO best practices and critical editing.
- Familiarity with local search optimization strategies.
- Basic knowledge of HTML in the context of SEO.
- Experience applying foundational SEO recommendations within a WordPress environment.
- Capability to implement best practices across diverse social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing for online publications.
