Detailed Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development:

– Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of 5-7 SEO specialists

– Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

– Conduct regular performance reviews and provide growth opportunities for team members

Strategy Development and Implementation:

– Craft comprehensive, data-driven SEO strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs

– Oversee the implementation of strategies across various client accounts

– Regularly review and refine strategies based on performance data and industry trends

AI Integration and Optimization:

– Spearhead the integration of AI tools into our SEO workflow

– Identify opportunities for AI to enhance keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO

– Develop best practices for AI usage in SEO processes

Client Relations and Reporting:

– Present SEO strategies and results to clients, explaining complex concepts in accessible terms

– Collaborate with account managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention

– Develop comprehensive reports that demonstrate the value and ROI of our SEO efforts

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

– Work closely with content, paid media, and web development teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts

– Contribute to pitch presentations for new business opportunities

– Participate in agency-wide strategic planning sessions

Detailed Requirements:

Experience:

– 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a management role

– Proven track record of improving search rankings, organic traffic, and conversions for diverse clients

– Experience working in or managing a Digital Marketing Agency, with exposure to various industries and business models

Technical Skills:

– Advanced proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Search Console

– Experience with AI-powered SEO tools like Clearscope, MarketMuse, or similar platforms

– Familiarity with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics

– Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

AI and Data Analysis:

– Strong understanding of how AI and machine learning can be applied to SEO

– Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

– Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies

Leadership and Communication:

– Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced agency environment

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Desired Skills:

– Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and its applications in content optimization
