We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Service Delivery Manager to join our remote team. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of services to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure service levels are met, identifying areas for improvement, and driving operational excellence.

The role includes (but may not be limited to) the following functions:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service delivery issues, concerns, and escalations.
  • Monitor service performance metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered according to agreed-upon service levels and quality standards.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service delivery performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of service delivery processes and procedures.
  • Manage the service delivery budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost control.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Forecast and allocate resources effectively to meet service delivery objective.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a service delivery or project management role, managing IT projects (eg cloud migrations, platform upgrades etc).
  • Strong understanding of service management frameworks. 
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in service delivery, project management, or a related role. 
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects and services. 

Skills:

  • Extremely competent in English, as the client is American and expects fluent conversations.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure projects and their unique requirements (downtime planning, availability management etc).
  • Fast thinker, as you will be engaging with customer contacts spanning IT Executives, right through to Engineering.
  • Need to be able to think on your feet, and engage with the appropriate personnel.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. 
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
