Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, while maintaining and enhancing the ServiceNow platform to support IT service management (ITSM), IT operations management (ITOM), and other ServiceNow modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, scripts, and integration.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Service Catalog).
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and define technical solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
- Ensure best practices in ServiceNow development to optimize performance, scalability, and usability.
- Create and manage ServiceNow data management and reporting solutions, including dashboards, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Keep up to date with ServiceNow product enhancements, releases, and new features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and implementation within ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HR Service Delivery, etc.).
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
- Technical Proficiency:
- ServiceNow customizations including UI Pages, Widgets, and ServiceNow API development.
- Workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow upgrades and patch management.
- Tools:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred).
- ITIL Foundation (preferred).
