We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in integrations to join our team and enhance our ServiceNow platform capabilities. This role involves designing, configuring, developing, and deploying innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on integrating ServiceNow with various enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in ServiceNow development and implementation, expertise in API integrations, and a proactive approach to delivering effective, scalable solutions to meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Configure ServiceNow Solutions: Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
  • Integration: Design, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and other integration tools and technologies.
  • Script Development: Write and maintain JavaScript code within ServiceNow, including Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs, Client Scripts, and Workflows.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for all ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and development efforts.
  • Platform Maintenance: Conduct regular updates, patching, and improvements to the ServiceNow environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects promptly.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to best practices and development standards, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements and organizational governance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with a focus on integrations.
  • Proven experience with API-based integrations, REST/SOAP web services, and other integration methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or other ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience with scripting languages, especially JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML) and databases (MySQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with Agile development practices is a plus.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow System Administrator certification preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Integration Expertise: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integration best practices for creating seamless connections between ServiceNow and external systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to addressing and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to create precise and detailed documentation, ensuring consistency and quality in all configurations and customizations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
