We will provide support and guidance to get you up to speed on some of the most amazing projects!  We will set expectations for what success looks like. Your Impact

• As a ServiceNow ITAM Developer you will drive engineering and development, and contribute to implementation of HAM Pro for our client
• Experience with developing and troubleshooting scoped applications
• Assist in the CMDB, Configuration and IT Asset Management in building performance to ensure optimal performance and operation
• Serve as the Technical Guide for all things ITAM
• Reflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate with technical SMEs and stakeholders
• Participate in user acceptance testing of the resulting maps, impact rules and event management work
• Promote your update sets and data across applicable SN environments
• Remediate any production incidents that arise related to this scope
• Align with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patterns
• Proactively maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk & inefficiency

Your Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in application development and/or software engineering on a cloud platform
• Expert experience with ServiceNow ITAM
• Experience with Discovery and Service Discovery capabilities within ServiceNow
• Comprehension of, and the ability to communicate and implement ITAM
• Ability to comprehend, modify and create server-side, object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell
• Ability to research and independently learn new technical information to perform configuration, operation, or network connectivity of applications, operating systems and network devices
• Experience in system administration of Linux and Windows servers
• Exposure to protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST
• IT Operations experience in storage, network, and compute of enterprise environments
• Service-oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc.)
• Understand Credential less and Credential based Discovery
• Install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow ITAM visibility with a focus on the discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors and Multisource CMDB
• Ability to prevent duplicate Cis with CI identifiers
• Extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns
• Knowledge and ability to configure, manage and maintain MID servers
• Proficient in working with command line console for Service Mapping
• Ability to work with and migrate patterns between Environments for Service Mapping
• Proficient in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping
• Ability and knowledge in Discovery of multi-tier services including advance pattern configuration for Service Mapping

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience

Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required; if not current must obtain within 6 months of joining)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (required; if not current must obtain within 6 months of joining)
• ServiceNow Software Asset Management and/or Hard ware Asset Management (CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM) highly desirable
• ITIL Foundation (preferred)
