Purpose and Scope:
As the SharePoint Developer, you will create and configure SharePoint and .Net sites, find solutions to enhance business activity, and customize sites based on the corporate’s needs. The SharePoint Developer will develop portals and convert processes into SharePoint workflows, interfacing with project managers and following systems engineering life cycle best practices. This is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting, designing, and developing SharePoint and .Net environments for corporate users.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, and solution discussions.
- Provide clear documentation and write-ups to the customer team on projects and breaks/fixes.
- Manage web environment design, deployment, and maintenance activities.
- Perform testing and quality assurance of websites and web applications.
- Manage structure and content to include graphics for collaboration artifacts, data repositories based on SharePoint, and other web/collaboration technologies.
- Provide support to assist customer content managers in accomplishing complex tasks.
- Interface via SharePoint Designer, SharePoint web interface, and other web development software to design, develop, and troubleshoot.
- Develop Web look Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Site and Branding on SharePoint platform or using Live Tiles solution
- Build new landing pages, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner, and videos accessible to any device
- Implement, deploy, package, and maintain new intranet portal site and SharePoint site
- Use SharePoint Framework SPx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates
- Work with UX designer for the overall theme and design/code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design for all devices
- Create web parts, lists/libraries, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management
- Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, and PowerApps/Flow
Requirements
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- 5 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365
- Experience in client interaction and understanding business applications and business data flow
- Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packaging to deploy DEV to PROD
- Strong knowledge of .Net framework (C#), IIS, Azure AD, and SharePoint site configuration
- Strong data and system analysis skills
- Team-player mentality with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types
- Proven track record of successful projects
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to learn quickly
- High motivation and desire to grow client relationships and exceed project expectations
- Passion for excellence and process improvement
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with WordPress and/or Atlassian Confluence wiki development
- JIRA project administration experience
- Working knowledge of IC ITE Services
- Microsoft Power Apps
Working Environment:
eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by the assigned manager.
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
