Our client is a small, fully remote team specializing in creating top-tier ecommerce experiences on Shopify. They are involved in exciting projects for nationally recognized brands, fast-growing ecommerce startups, and a variety of other companies in between.

With a strong focus on design, quality, and a streamlined development process, they’ve consistently delighted clients and grown their agency. Now, they’re seeking an experienced Shopify developer to help continue this tradition and support their clients’ evolving needs.

About The Position

You’ll collaborate with their client’s design team, who will provide design direction, and you’ll typically be the sole developer on your projects. You will have full ownership of the development process, with your attention to detail and dedication to quality work being both encouraged and rewarded.

You should have

• Fluent or native English-speaking skills.
• 3+ years of full-time professional experience as a Shopify developer.
• Expertise in Shopify/Liquid development building Shopify themes from scratch.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Sass/JS.
• A solid understanding of good web design (you don’t need to be a designer, but you should understand design principles).
• Familiarity with responsive web design (RWD) techniques and mobile performance.
• Ability to write well-structured vanilla JavaScript.
• Comfort with building front-end templates using JSON APIs.

Pluses

• Experience with backend full-stack development.
• Prior experience working in a digital agency.

Location

This is a remote role, and you can be based anywhere in Latin America, but you must overlap at least 5 hours with US Pacific Time.
