Job Title: Shopify Web Development Manager (Team Lead: 10-15 Members)

Position Overview:

We seek a skilled Shopify Web Development Manager with strong leadership abilities to oversee a team of 10-15 developers along with assisting in web design and development and redesigning websites. This role demands a balance of technical expertise in Shopify and web development with the ability to guide teams and deliver exceptional results. Core Responsibilities:

Management and Collaboration

• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 10-15 developers, ensuring high performance and strong team cohesion.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project managers.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Web Development and Technical Oversight

• Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of custom Shopify websites tailored to client needs.
• Ensure seamless integration with Shopify Apps, third-party APIs, and marketing tools.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites with clean, maintainable code.
• Debug and optimize existing websites for enhanced performance, user experience, and SEO.

Project Planning and Delivery

• Plan, manage, and deliver development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-centered and visually engaging designs.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Quality Assurance and Optimization

• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards and adherence to best practices.
• Use analytics and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Continuously update and optimize websites based on client feedback and emerging trends.

Client Interaction and Support

• Communicate technical concepts and project updates clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively suggest enhancements to improve website functionality and user experience.
• Foster strong client relationships by addressing their needs effectively and efficiently.

Technical Expertise

• Extensive experience in Shopify development, including custom themes, apps, and plugins.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies: JavaScript, DOM, CSS3, HTML5, and Liquid.
• Familiarity with Storefront API, AJAX, jQuery, and ES6.
• Proficient in debugging using browser developer tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.

Communication and Behavioural Requirements

• Proven experience managing a team of 10-15 developers and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to ensure seamless project execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating third-party applications and payment gateways.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance (e.g., WCAG).
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager for performance tracking.
