Job Description:
- Shopify Store Management: Lead the management, optimization, and maintenance of our Shopify eCommerce platform. Ensure seamless integration of Shopify features and third-party applications.
- Product Configuration: Oversee the setup and configuration of products, variants, pricing, and inventory management within the Shopify admin panel.
- Theme Customization: Collaborate with design and development teams to customize Shopify themes and improve the user interface, ensuring a high-quality shopping experience.
- App Integration: Manage and integrate third-party apps and tools to enhance Shopify functionality, such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, analytics tools, and marketing platforms.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tools to track and analyze store performance, sales data, and customer behavior. Provide insights to optimize product listings and enhance sales.
- Product Lifecycle: Manage the product lifecycle within Shopify, including the creation, launch, and retirement of products. Ensure that product data is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals.
- Content Management: Coordinate with the marketing and content teams to ensure that product descriptions, images, videos, and other content are optimized for SEO and user engagement.
- UX/UI Optimization: Work closely with UX/UI designers to enhance the overall user experience of the Shopify store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience across all devices.
- SEO & Performance: Implement SEO best practices for Shopify products and store pages to improve organic search visibility and ensure optimal page load speeds.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for Shopify-related issues, collaborating with developers when necessary to troubleshoot and resolve any store issues or bugs.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to support campaigns, promotions, and sales initiatives that drive eCommerce growth.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and analyze customer feedback on the shopping experience to identify areas for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in the Shopify ecosystem and eCommerce best practices. Propose new features, tools, and strategies to improve the online store’s performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify stores or working with Shopify products in an eCommerce setting.
- Shopify Expertise: Deep knowledge of Shopify’s admin panel, theme customization, apps, and integrations.
- Product Management: Strong experience managing product data, product lifecycle, inventory, and pricing on Shopify.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Shopify theme customization. Familiarity with Shopify Liquid is a plus.
- App Integration: Experience with integrating third-party apps for shipping, payment gateways, marketing, and analytics on Shopify.
- Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency with Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tools to monitor and report on store performance.
- SEO: Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites and product pages.
- Customer Focused: Strong customer service mindset with the ability to gather insights from customer feedback and data.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product listings, checkout processes, and site performance.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills
- Shopify Plus: Experience with Shopify Plus, including advanced features and customizations for larger-scale eCommerce stores.
- Marketing & Promotions: Knowledge of creating and managing promotions, discounts, and campaigns within Shopify to drive sales.
- Cross-Platform Experience: Experience integrating Shopify with other platforms such as Amazon, eBay, or social media for omnichannel sales.
- Design & UX: Familiarity with UX/UI design principles for eCommerce websites and knowledge of best practices for mobile and desktop shopping experiences.
- Agile Environment: Experience working in Agile product development or project management environments.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, eCommerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
