Site Engineer (Remote)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi for the maintenance of bridges and tunnels. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in bridges or tunnels maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:
– Familiarize with all relevant contract-related specifications and requirements.
– Develop practical planning and methods for constructing the works.
– Ensure/check that method statements are generated for all elements of work undertaken.
– Ensure that contract specifications, including WBBG shop drawings, are strictly complied with.
– Ensure the quality of works conforms to the project specifications.
– Prepare and issue daily and weekly reports, concrete requisitions, and short-term programs/look ahead in a timely manner.
– Ensure that requests for inspections are issued to QA/QC document control a day before the required inspection as per WBBG policy.
– Ensure that the necessary competent resources are available to execute the works according to the approved time schedule and meet agreed milestones.
– Ensure that staff are familiar with the requirements of method statements and ITPs.

– Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance of bridges or tunnels.
– Strong knowledge of contract specifications, planning, and construction methods.
– Experience in quality control and preparing reports.
– Proficiency in WBBG policies and procedures is preferred.
– Ability to ensure staff and resources align with project timelines.

Salary:

AED
4,000 to 6,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
