Snowflake Developer With Aws Glue Expertise | Evoort Solutions | India
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with hands-on expertise in AWS Glue to join our growing team. This role will operate remotely from India, supporting a US-based client. The candidate will work primarily in the afternoon shift to align with US business hours. The ideal professional will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with globally located client team.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
- Utilize AWS Glue to build, orchestrate, and optimize ETL pipelines for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
- Collaborate with US-based stakeholders to gather and understand business needs, translating them into efficient technical solutions.
- Optimize and monitor Snowflake performance, including query optimization and workload handling.
- Implement best practices for data architecture, security, and governance on Snowflake and AWS Glue.
- Troubleshoot data issues, pipeline failures, and optimize the data flow processes.
- Provide technical documentation and support to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience with Snowflake and AWS Glue in a data engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake concepts, including schema design, Snowpipe, data sharing, streams, and tasks.
- Proficiency in building ETL workflows using AWS Glue, including Glue Catalog, Glue Jobs, and Glue Crawlers.
- Experience with SQL for querying, transforming, and optimizing datasets within Snowflake.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with US-based stakeholders.
- Past experience in working remotely and independently while collaborating with remote teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex data and performance challenges.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment with tools like Jira or Trello.
- Exposure to Python for scripting and automating ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.

Education
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- OR: Bachelor’s Degree (3 years) + Master’s Degree.
