Social Media Assistant for Musicians ┃ Permanent role ┃ Ideal for a new graduate or if you’re seeking a change of pace!

The Damian Keyes brand is excited to open up for a unique position for a Social Media Assistant within the music industry. This role offers an incredible chance to be a part of the expansion of DK Social team – a cutting-edge social media agency based in Nashville, back by a global remote team.

With a strong foundation of YouTube (14M+ views) and a global presence through DK Music Business Academy, founder Damian Keyes is committed to ensuring that every aspiring musician’s music reaches their intended audience. Now, as we expand our horizons, we’re seeking a passionate Social Media Assistant to join us on this exciting journey.

Role Overview

In this role, you will play a vital part in:

• Assisting in the development and execution of effective social media strategies for the Damian Keyes brand and our artist clients in DK Social.
• Writing and designing artist documents, and providing feedback on video content.
• Communicating daily with artists and representatives of labels, in the form of text, email, and video calls.
• Collaborating with the senior team to manage social media platforms, with a focus on growing audiences.
• Learning to utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions that contribute to the success of our clients.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with our diverse clientele, ensuring their needs are met at every stage.
• Assisting a driven team whilst reporting to the Head of Social.

Requirements

• A strong command of English language (written and verbal) is essential.
• Ideally a qualification in marketing, communications, English, or related degree, though not a requirement.
• A keen eye for detail (especially grammar, analytics, aesthetic, and tone of voice).
• A creative spark, capable of generating fresh ideas for content.
• Demonstrated experience using social media and basic understanding of its key concepts.
• Design experience, or knowledge of Canva, is a bonus but not required.

Most importantly: initiative. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment, whilst always thinking about what they can do next.

Location

Remote in the UK. The Head of DK Social is located in South Wales, so do reach out if you are based in that area (not required).

Salary

25,000GBP full-time equivalent.
