Prostasis is a fast growing, scientifically driven nutritional supplement company that designs products
that boost weight loss and improve cognitive health. Our naturally derived patented
“NutraSimilars” have been researched at Duke University for the last 8 years and are
coming to market in early 2025.
We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Social Media Marketing Manager with
at least 3 years experience working in social media marketing for a leading nutritional supplement
company.
This individual will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for creating
visually appealing, high impact content-driven campaigns across all of the social media
channels including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement social media
strategies that align with Prostasis’ brand, values, and growth objectives,
targeting both brain health and weight loss markets.
• Content Creation & High-End Graphics: Design and produce high-quality,
visually compelling content tailored for each social platform, ensuring brand
consistency and engagement.
• Platform Management & Optimization: Manage daily postings across major
social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), adjusting
strategies based on performance metrics to maximize audience engagement.
• Analytics & Performance Tracking: Use social media analytics tools to track,
analyze, and report on campaign performance, offering insights for continuous
improvement.
• Community Engagement: Build and engage with Prostasis’ online community,
fostering meaningful interactions, responding to inquiries, and growing brand
loyalty.
• Trend Spotting & Innovation: Stay updated on social media trends, platform
updates, and competitor activities, bringing fresh ideas and opportunities for
content innovation.
• Influencer Marketing: Work with the marketing team to find and attract new
influencers to create and execute influencer briefs and campaigns
Qualifications:
• Must haves: Experience with nutritional health products and working with a
health and wellness brand in the metabolic and/or brain health areas.
• Must have: Paid social campaign content creation
• Nice to have: Experience with influencer collaborations
• 3+ years of experience creating consumer facing content and managing social media for a
nutritional supplement company
• Understanding and insight on social media channel’s algorithms, trends, and
• Proven experience in high-end graphical content creation, with a strong design
sense and ability to work with designers to produce compelling visuals.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram,
TikTok, and emerging channels.
• Expertise in using social media management tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social,
Hootsuite) and analytics platforms to optimize performance and generate
insights.
• Strong understanding of audience engagement strategies, including community
management and content personalization.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and the ability to
adapt content to different formats and platforms.
