Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing social media accounts for our clients, developing strategic plans, and producing high-quality content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
The Social Media Manager will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and create strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and ultimately contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to client needs and goals, focusing on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Manage and grow client social media accounts, ensuring content aligns with brand voice and values.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms to drive organic engagement and follower growth.
- Conduct thorough research to stay ahead of trends in the pet industry, social media best practices, and competitor activity.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and insights on key metrics (engagement, reach, growth).
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
- Implement paid social media campaigns in coordination with the marketing team to maximize ROI.
- Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and emerging features to optimize strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Based in Malaysia, preferably KL.
- 3 – 5 years experience as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or similar role, ideally within the pet industry or in advertising agencies.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including their unique features, algorithms, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of social media analytics and tools.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and editing skills.
- Experience in managing social media accounts for clients.
- Creative mindset with a passion for pets and social media trends.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with pet brands or in the pet industry.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and content partnerships.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques for TikTok content creation.
