Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization – Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. Job Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
• 8+ years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
• Development experience in Java
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud services
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
• Experience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures.
• Working knowledge of any infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
• Experience with backend services using REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Good understanding of Linux or desire to learn
• Demonstrable technical leadership and mentorship skills
• Experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
• Demonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, GCP, Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology
