Position Overview: Our organization seeks a highly skilled Python Developer to contribute to the backend development of an AI-driven web and mobile application. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in the development of the AI pipeline for data curation, while also providing support for backend server-side data logic as required. This position will involve the utilization of innovative AI programming paradigms, such as LangGraph, vector databases, and LLM, as we as server side python frameworks like FastAPI. The successful candidate will possess the ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment. SOZO Intuition is an early stage startup and the successful candidate will need to thrive in a dynamic environment.

SOZO Intuition is a platform for the real-time understanding of complex technical industries, like biotechnology. The product helps innovators, innovative organizations, and innovation stakeholders to more deeply understand their industry, as individuals and as teams. Our product includes a web and mobile app currently in development and leverages cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence and data management to deliver value to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of our AI pipeline in the curation and validation of data.
• Develop and implement solutions using LangGraph, LLMs (Large Language Models), Vector Databases, and NLP (Natural Language Processing).
• Support backend development of our web and mobile application, with a focus on Python and FastAPI in a production environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Software development experience, with a focus on Python, LangChain/Graph, LLM, and FastAPI in production environments.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with AI tools, including LangGraph, LLMs, Vector Databases, and NLP technologies.
• Experience with server side webapp production environments, including FastAPI, Docker
• Familiarity with cloud services and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Problem Solving: Ability to approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness in a fast-paced startup environment.

Education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have equivalent experience.
