The Software team at Ethernovia builds cutting-edge software systems closely knit with our hardware communication and acceleration solutions. We build the full stack, starting from Software Modeling, Applications, SDK, Middleware, OS Kernel Drivers, Firmware, Compilers, Micro-code, Frameworks, Tools, Infrastructure and Evaluation/Test Platforms. All of this for automotive grade, safety critical systems with the highest grade of qualifications including MISRA, AUTOSAR and ASPICE.
Software Engineer, Frameworks (Mid to Senior Level Available)

Multiple Positions in Pune, India.
Remote Working

Job Description
You will be responsible for Testing and Validation of Ethernovia’s software. This responsibility includes working closely with the design and hardware validation teams to design, implement, enhance, and run test cases, test plans and test tools.
The test and validation strategy at Ethernovia is geared towards safety critical automotive domain. Hence testing, automation of testing, processing test results, identifying issues, documentation and presentation is of utmost importance to the company’s deliverables to our customers.
Also, we build products with strict adherence to Functional Safety and hence every team member is required to fit into a culture of safety and best development practices.
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field.
- Work Experience: 3 years for Mid-level and 7 years for Senior Level position.
- Strong understanding of Software Development lifecycle including Architecture, Implementation and Testing fundamentals.
- Proficient in Python programming language, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Experience with integration and testing of open-source middleware, libraries, and drivers.
- Experience with building test infrastructure and test utilities.
- Exposure to validation of software or hardware products.
- Experience in an automotive validation environment is a big plus.
- Experience with Functional Safety is a big plus.
- Experience with software testing including applications, middleware, drivers, and firmware.
- Exposure to System level validation i.e., including software with hardware products.
- Experience with tools for automation, continuous integration, and dev-ops like Jenkins.
Nice to Have Experience with
- Databases like SQL.
- Experience with C/C++ is a plus.
- Integration with JIRA, Confluence, Version Control tools like Perforce/Git.
- Meta languages like JSON, XML.
- Networking testing tools like IXIA.
- Automated test tools and platforms like TestRail
Soft Skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication/documentation skills.
- Attention to details.
