Be Part of Enhancing Our Organization

As Software Engineer II, you’ll build and maintain telemetry systems for Akamai’s cloud platform. Collaborate in a Scrum team to design, develop, deploy, and maintain services for thousands of customers.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for-

• Designing and implement scalable, high-performance, and reliable observability tools to monitor and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Contributing effectively within cross-functional teams to foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Ensuring high-quality product delivery through robust testing and continuous integration practices
• Cloud-Native Development- Building data-intensive workloads/services with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Identifying potential issues and areas for improvement within systems and processes, and implementing effective solutions.
• Staying updated on industry trends and technologies while adapting to evolving testing practices.

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will-

• Have 2-4 years of experience with a bachelor’s in CSE/IT and expertise in Go, Java, or Python.
• Have skills across SDLC, from development to testing, with experience in Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and containerization technologies .
• Be familiar with building cloud-native services, infrastructure, and deployment practices, showcasing adaptability to various cloud environments.
• Have excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting abilities, effective communication, and collaboration skills.
• Have a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a changeable environment.
• Have experience in cloud-native app development, K8s, Helm, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), logging, monitoring, shell scripting, and CI/CD tools .
