Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop new algorithms for remote sensor data exploitation.
- Exhibit proficiency in Python and C++, demonstrating strong software design and architecture skills.
- Construct proof-of-concept tools for signal processing and data exploitation utilizing Python.
- Enhance Python-based tools that support machine learning, modeling, and simulation efforts.
- Assess the performance and quality of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment and contribute to shared development tools.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Strong foundations in software design and architecture principles.
- Familiarity with signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation methodologies.
- Experience with Agile software development practices.
- Ability to evaluate performance metrics and quality standards of algorithms and sensor systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience with C++, Python, and Linux operating environments (educational qualifications may compensate for part of this experience).
- Experience in handling OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other forms of remote sensing data.
- Capacity to work full-time on-site in Boulder, CO.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation And Benefits
This role provides a highly competitive salary range of (117,000 – )168,000 per year, influenced by individual role responsibilities, experience levels, and educational background.
