Software Engineer (Remote)

We are searching for a Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, your duties will involve developing applications and systems to provide our business partners with reliable data services. The role will require you to maintain, enhance, and ensure smooth operation of our web applications and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain business reporting and analytics applications.

Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring efficient deployment processes.

Design, implement, and optimize server-side applications using Node.js and enhance user interfaces using Vue.js.

Work with AWS, DynamoDB, and Oracle to design and optimize database schemas and queries ensuring data integrity, performance, and reliability.

Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to populate Enterprise Data Warehouse and data marts using Pentaho and Oracle PL/SQL.

Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security while implementing best practices for code quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, software configuration and ETL/ELT related performance issues.

Develop Python programming and UNIX scripting for backend services.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide excellent production support and customer service.

Automate testing, integration, and deployment processes to enhance the development workflow.

Prepare code migration document and work with the release team in migrating the code to QA & other environments.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience in Software Engineering
Proficiency in Android Development
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project management
Experience in Backend Development
Knowledge of Bug Tracking systems
Proficiency in C++ programming language
Experience with AB Testing
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
Experience in API Development
Proficiency in ASP.NET for web development
Knowledge of CSS for web design and layout
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
