Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our products. The ideal candidate will work at the crucial interface between software design and mechatronics, using their expertise to enhance the automation of our platform and add new software functionalities.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Design, development, validation and debug of software solutions based on Phyton/ platforms for Windows applications.
Modify existing software to fix errors, update integrations and analyse end-users needs to improve the overall quality of the software platforms.
Development of solutions for data management and analysis of electrophysiological data from neuronal and cardiac cells.
Develop user-friendly, efficient interfaces for scientific research use, facilitating data accessibility and interpretation for our research and pharmaceutical partners.
Development and optimization of hardware and control systems based on mechanical translators suitable for laboratory equipment.
Provide comprehensive documentation and user guides for software tools and offer technical support to internal users and research partners.
Remote support for customers.
Product testing.

Requirements

Applicants must already possess an Italian working permit prior to the job application.
Master’s degree/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced knowledge in software languages and electronics.
Some experience within biotech, medical devices, or a related scientific domain is a plus.
Experience in development of real-time solutions implemented on Python/C++.
Experience with machine learning or AI for machine vision, data processing and analysis.
Good knowledge of the English language.
