Software Engineer (Remote)

We are currently in the process of expanding our team with an experienced Software Engineer based in Dallas, Texas, 75240, United States. As part of our team, you will be mainly involved in the development and management of software applications, focusing on cloud-native development and maintaining customer-focused applications.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently develop and manage REST/GraphQL APIs with JavaScript

Work with front-end technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, Node.js, and React

Utilize AWS technologies including Kubernetes, ECS, EventBridge, Lambda, Docker, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, Redis, Code Deploy, etc.

Implement Authentication and Authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.)

Employ Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform

Maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with GitHub Actions, Feature Flags, and Semantic versioning

Adhere to secure coding best practices for OWASP and CWE compliance

Utilize Azure DevOps Boards

Manage API Key: Obtain and use API keys for authentication

Handle complex webhooks workflows including processing of loan events

Write SQL queries and interact with databases

Conduct Testing including Unit Tests, Code Coverage, Postman/Newman Proficiency, and experience with Jest/NUnit/XUnit.

2 years as a developer for ICE Encompass Software (mortgage system)

Requirements

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in Node.js is a fundamental requirement for this role.

Applicants should have experience in API development.

Knowledge and hands-on experience in Kubernetes is essential.

Experience in software development and coding in various languages is a must.

Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are required.

Candidates should have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Candidates should be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of integrity.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate potential issues is expected.

Candidates should be open to learning and adapting to new technologies and tools.
