About the Role:

We seek an experienced Software Engineering Director who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technical implementation. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of technology and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions. You will work closely with high-level stakeholders, including managers, directors, and vice presidents of multi-billion dollar corporations or founders of promising startups, to understand and influence their technology strategies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business leaders to define technology strategies that align with business objectives.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide expert advice on a variety of technologies and their implications for business strategies.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, business-oriented language.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Support the development team by providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

10+ years of professional experience in software development, including significant experience with multiple technologies.
5+ years of experience in a strategic advisory role, preferably in a consulting environment.
Strong understanding of a wide range of technologies and their business implications.
Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
Proven track record of influencing technology decisions at a strategic level.
