Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented software engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of high-quality software products, driving the team’s performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, including design, architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Performance Management: Set goals, monitor progress, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high performance and continuous development of team members.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the team’s efficiency, productivity, and quality of output.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring the team has the right skills and capacity to meet business needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Budget Management: Manage the team’s budget, including resource allocation and cost control, to ensure financial objectives are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in React.JS (must).
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Node.JS (must).
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in .NET (must).
  • At least 8 years of experience working with any database (must).
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in software development with expertise in the required technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers.
  • Project Management: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
