What You’ll Do:

As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of CardioScan’s core software solutions. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll conduct comprehensive testing of new and existing platform features, focusing on automation, manual, and API testing. You will collaborate closely with the development team to embed QA best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities include building and enhancing test frameworks, identifying and resolving issues, and delivering solutions within estimated timelines. In this role, you will actively contribute to the QA strategy by driving initiatives that align with CardioScan’s vision and business goals.

The QA Test Engineer will:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on product requirements and technical specifications 
  • Create detailed functional, integration, and system test cases to ensure high test coverage and product quality 
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts for regression, load and performance testing 
  • Maintain and optimise automated test environments for efficiency and stability 
  • Conduct manual and automated tests, document test results, and track defects to resolution 
  • Generate and analyse detailed test reports, providing clear feedback on product quality to product owner and development teams 
  • Work closely with product, development, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing activities with project timelines and product requirements 
  • Participate in requirements analysis and elucidate outcomes for test cases 
  • Participate in review meetings to understand product needs and assess potential risk areas .

This position requires a hands-on, proactive approach, with a focus on continuous improvement to ensure our platform delivers the highest standard of performance, usability, and reliability for our customers globally.

Must have technical requirements & experience:

  • Mimimum 3 years experience
  • Experience in SaaS and cloud-based applications and product testing, with expertise in designing and implementing automated testing solutions 
  • Experience in using automated Unit and Regression Testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) 
  • Experience in cloud testing environments, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline)  
  • Experience in setting up DevOps practices from scratch 
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Process and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills 
  • Good problem-solving skills 
  • Keep abreast of the latest testing technologies and practices and integrate these as appropriate.
