Software Test Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for experienced software test engineers to join our successful and expanding team in the Philippines. This role will be working remotely on some of our customer projects in ANZ.

Key Responsibilities

Work in an Agile continuous delivery environment or a conventional delivery team, depending on the client, and be responsible for testing according to well defined acceptance criteria.

​Define test cases, enhancement and issues tracking & management​

Support the definition of business-driven acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing

Functional testing, manual testing, automated testing, load testing and security testing

Ensure that all impacts, risks and issues have been considered

Make sure the developed solutions/features meet the requirements during design and test activities

Document test cases and outcomes in the agreed format ensuring clarity and correctness

Skill Set Required

• At least 3+ years of experience in manual testing and test automation
• Test automation and Pega experience would be a bonus.
• Functional, Integration (API) and System testing experience.
• UAT experience with multiple business stakeholders.
• Experienced in using test management tools
• Independent and able to manage own workload.
• High level of initiative and a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organised and focused on work quality planning.
• Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
• Exceptional consulting, client engagement and communication skills.
• A creative approach and a desire to solve complex problems.
• An ability to deal with ambiguity and adopt a flexible approach.
• Outstanding written and verbal skills, with strong presentation, documentation and communication skills.
• Proven critical thinking and analysis skills.
• Pragmatic approach when providing solutions and driving initiatives.
• Self-managing, pro-active and driven to achieve personal and company goals.
• ISTQB Certification is preferred.
