Software Tool Developer (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Software Tool Developer who will have the chance to grow their technical and soft skills within a team of professionals in the automotive industry. You will develop smart and reliable software solutions while working together with a team of experts in an international and cross-cultural environment. This role is based on Individual Work Contract collaboration. This role is full remote from Romania.

Responsibilities:

• Development of software tools and KPI scripts for validation and verification of algorithms and systems based on functional requirements.
• Participation in the definition of SW Architecture for individual tools as well as redefining existing parts.
• Design and implementation of SW toolchain for better ease of use of individual systems and automating development processes.
• Administration, maintenance, and modification of implemented solutions according to current requirements.
• Performing Specification reviews, Software Design Reviews, and Peer Code Reviews on a regular basis.
• Active participation in integration and system tests (definition, preparation, execution, evaluation, reporting). Presentation of tests and results internally and to the customer.
• Creation of test strategy, planning, and coordination of test activities based on submitted requirements.

Skills required:

• Python Experience (at least 6+ years experience).
• C/C++ Experience (at least 4+ years experience).
• Decent understanding of Linear algebra (transformations between different coordinate systems, matrix calculations, odometry calculations).
• Experience in the Automotive industry and with its standard data formats (ADTF .DAT, .MF4) is a strong advantage.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with validation and test automation tools (such as Robot Framework, Pytest, Selenium etc.) is an advantage.
• Experience with static code analysis tools (such as SonarQube, Klocwork, etc.) is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins framework is an advantage.
