Responsibilities

As the Utility-Scale Solar Project Manager, you’ll oversee all electrical and mechanical construction activities for large solar farms. This site-based role requires a proactive, strategic leader who can manage internal and external teams to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the coordination and execution of electrical and mechanical installations, managing both self-perform and subcontractor teams.
• Managing relationships with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progression.
• Overseeing project superintendents, construction managers, and project engineers, ensuring alignment across all project stages.
• Enforcing safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet performance goals and deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 4 years of project management experience in utility-scale solar or a related renewable energy field.
• Proven experience overseeing electrical and mechanical construction for large-scale solar projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaborative results.
• Familiarity with safety standards and quality control measures in the renewable energy sector.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for engaging with subcontractors, owners, and internal staff.
