Solidity Developer (Remote)

Are you an experienced Solidity Developer with a well-rounded coding background, strong expertise in Solidity and preferably Python with a hands-on approach? We are seeking a versatile professional like you to join our team as a Tech lead / Lead developer, driving the development of innovative blockchain solutions and managing our technical operations.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Solidity, Python, DevOps, and AWS. In this dual role, you will lead our technical team, oversee the development and deployment of our blockchain solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure. Your technical expertise and leadership will be critical in driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

– Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

– Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps) using Solidity on Ethereum and other blockchain platforms.

– Architect scalable and efficient backend systems and APIs using Python and related frameworks.

– Implement and manage DevOps practices and tools to ensure the smooth operation and continuous delivery of our blockchain solutions.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

– Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

– Stay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology, DevOps practices, and emerging trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our business.

– Manage technical resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Tech lead / Lead developer with expertise in Solidity and Python development.

– Strong proficiency in Solidity programming language and its ecosystem, coupled with hands-on experience in building decentralized applications.

– Extensive experience in backend development using Python and related frameworks such as Django or Flask.

– Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure management.

– Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and inspiring development teams.

– Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the ability to architect complex systems and debug technical issues.

– Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

– Entrepreneurial mindset and creative (out-of-the-box) thinker, capable of driving innovative solutions.

– Strong soft skills, enabling close collaboration with the Product Manager to align technical efforts with product goals.

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred skills (not required):

– Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, NextJs, React, Tailwind and CSS for building user interfaces for DApps.

– Experience with other blockchain platforms and programming languages.

Location:

This role is open to both remote and on-site candidates, with a preference for Amsterdam-based applicants. Initial interviews will be conducted in Amsterdam, even for remote candidates.
