About the Role:
Cazcanes Tequila is seeking a passionate and driven Southeast Regional Manager with a strong background in premium spirits sales. This role is central to our mission of building a lasting connection with consumers and distributor partners across the Southeast with a focus on Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. You’ll bring Cazcanes’ handcrafted, award-winning tequilas to life by fostering key relationships, enhancing brand visibility, and driving growth within targeted accounts.
In this role, you’ll execute our brand’s strategic sales initiatives, manage distributor relationships, work with the executive team on sales budget, and educate the market on Cazcanes’ artisanal qualities. You will plan, communicate, and execute objectives with distributor partners across all On-Premise, Off-Premise, chain channels while maintaining brand integrity. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you’ll play an integral role in establishing Cazcanes as a premium choice in the Southeast. This candidate must live in the states of Florida or Georgia.
Core Responsibilities:
• Build Brand Advocacy: Oversee Cazcanes Tequila distribution and visibility across the Southeast, focusing on all markets to increase brand presence and drive demand within top-tier accounts.
• Nurture Key Relationships: Conduct regular visits and strengthen relationships with account owners, managers, and buyers, showcasing the authenticity of Cazcanes Tequila. Ensure distributor partners and stakeholders understand and appreciate the craftsmanship that sets Cazcanes apart.
• Champion Market Education: Educate trade partners and consumers on the unique aspects of Cazcanes Tequila through tastings, meetings, and staff training sessions, emphasizing the brand’s artisanal production and quality.
• Engage Distributor Partners: Conduct distributor market work-withs and serve as the main contact for distributor teams to support brand growth, enhance visibility, and foster strong sales partnerships.
• Devise regional Programming: Work with Cazcanes Sales leaders and Distributor partners on market specific programs, incentives, and goals.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Analyze key accounts using internal tools (POS materials, VIP data) to increase market share and drive brand loyalty. Collaborate with marketing on customized tools for account growth.
• Participate in Key Events: Represent Cazcanes in market surveys, sales blitzes, and events, sharing the brand’s story and establishing its premium positioning.
• Accountable Budget Management: Carefully manage T&E and activation budgets, ensuring responsible spending aligned with Cazcanes’ growth strategy.
• Collaborative Team Player: Actively contribute to the team by sharing successes, insights, and supporting colleagues, while participating in GSMs, weekly, and monthly meetings with distributor teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in premium beverage alcohol, with knowledge of the Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, control markets such as North & South Carolina’s regulatory landscape and distribution channels.
• Sales Excellence: Demonstrated ability to meet sales KPIs, establish and grow key accounts, and deliver brand standards with integrity.
• Digital and Social Media Savvy: Proficient with digital platforms and adept in utilizing social media for brand-building purposes.
• Budget and ROI Focus: Proven success in managing budgets and maximizing ROI, aligned with Cazcanes’ mission of sustainable growth.
• Effective Communicator: Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building to foster trust and loyalty with partners.
• Technology Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Adaptable and Motivated: Flexibility to support other markets as needed; ability to work independently and travel within Texas as required.
• Physical Ability: Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Working Conditions:
• Home Office Setup: Remote-based position.
• Full-Time Commitment: Non-traditional hours, including evenings and some weekends.
• Travel Required: Regular travel to major Southeast markets
This is a full-time, exempt role with competitive pay based on experience, training, and education.
