Southeast Sales Manager | DAB Pumps USA | United States
The Southeast Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales budget in the assigned territory (Florida up through Maryland / Alabama to Tennessee, etc.) They will develop and maintain existing and new customers in the Pumps Distribution Channel and report on new market opportunities and developments, as well as coordinate and manage manufacturer rep agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales to achieve the company and regional targets and action plans.
- Foster relationships and provide training support to outside sales distributors & manufacturer rep agents in an effort to achieve internal sales goals
- Visit installer, dealer, end users in the water well, plumbing, mechanical HVAC, water treatment, irrigation, swimming pool and rainwater harvesting channels to drive more demand of DAB Pumps products in the Southeast market
- Work with DAB Training staff to coordinate training
- Explain the DAB Proven Process and Unique Propositions
- Coordinate with Account Managers & Rep Agents on specific accounts
- Promote new product lines and identify opportunities
- Assure the correct implementation of company pricing policy in the market
- Provide short and long-term sales forecasts and products mix to meet company targets
- Attend and coordinate local and national tradeshows and distributor/ end user trainings
- Input in CRM information about prospects, customers, offers, written reports on market and competitors
Competencies & Skills:
- Strong level of negotiation skills
- Proven ability to drive sales plan to close
- Must be well organized and a self-starter
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS office
- Prior experience with CRM software
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in B2B Sales
- Experience with pumps, ground water drilling, water treatment, irrigation, rainwater, pool/pond, sewage a must
Travel:
- ~60%+ overnight travel to dealers, distributors, customers, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings. Travel can vary by season.
- International travel to Italy to visit company HQ and production sites at least once per year
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; able to drive F250 truck with trailer
- Quarterly travel to DAB US HQ in Ladson, SC
