Specialist In Simulation Operations Wfh (Remote)

We invite you to become a part of our team as a Simulation Operations Specialist, a role critical to the efficient management and coordination of simulation events at the Medical College of Georgia. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to ensure that educational simulations are executed seamlessly, addressing both technological and educational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot various audiovisual hardware and software.
• Set up and manage audiovisual equipment for diverse events, ensuring both effectiveness and safety.
• Provide technical support and maintain audiovisual systems.
• Assist in the utilization of instructional media and equipment for educational simulations.
• Conduct pre-briefings and orientations for learners, faculty, and staff.
• Support exams, assessments, and testing to maintain a smooth educational process.
• Serve as an internal consultant for the integration of simulation technologies into the curriculum.
• Manage IT equipment setup, operation, and storage, ensuring connectivity between regional campus sites for statewide simulation activities.
• Plan and coordinate statewide simulation activities in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the security of consumables and equipment.
• Ensure preparation and storage areas are clean and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to program administration and reporting.
• Set up, operate, and maintain simulators and other simulation equipment.
• Provide support for both in-person and remote simulation technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors to address current and future simulation technology needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance the simulation program.

Required Skills

• Strong critical thinking and judgment abilities, with a capacity for independent work.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software/databases.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to cybersecurity and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in simulation, healthcare, technology, or a related field.

Compensation And Benefits

• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, with potential for occasional work outside of standard business hours.
• Salary: (48,800 – )55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
